I posted a plea for information a while back and have gotten no response. I am posting once more just in case someone out there saw it but thought "he'll get lots of other responses with more info!" I didn't. I own a Tandy Color Computer 3 and also a Radio Shack Plug 'N Power color computer programable controller (cat no. 26-3142). This controller was designed to be programmed from a coco 1 or 2 but the software cartridge will not work with the coco 3. I am sure my coco 3 can talk to it but I have no software and no idea how to program it. If anyone out there has ANY information regarding availible software, OS-9 drivers, how to comunicate with the controller, etc I would be very grateful. I programmed the controller with my mom's computer but would really like to use it with my own! Scott Buttered bread always lands * Scott McGee butter side down! (Unless * email : smcgee%albion@cs.utah.edu it sticks to the ceiling!) * Would YOU mistake these opinions as anyone's but my own?

There is a public domain probram called X10 (available on the CoCo List, and undoubtedly elsewhere) which will control it. It's too bad, actually. The 26-3142 has some nice features that the standard doesn't have, I believe, most notable the ability to store 256 events. Some people have been occasionlaly trying to convert the 3142 to serial port use, but it's been too hard; One of these days, I'll open up mine and see what I can do, but I don't have too high hopes. More knowledgeable people than me have tried and given up. If anyone knows differently about this PnP controller, PLEASE speak up! Jerry Stratton DZUJ@crnlvax5
