Greeting-
Thanks to everyone who responded. I now know that the mockup is
working and I can finish the coding of the news poster. The status of
the project at this point is that the transport layer of news is running
perfectly. The news reader works, but is a little rough and the poster
is too rough for anyone but its creator to use. The responses I have gotten
will allow me to get the poster into a state where others can use it. I will
probably be looking for testers in 2 weeks or so. I will post the requirements
at that time. The first round of testing will be on 6809 only as I like many
others am still waiting on my MM1 to get me up on osk. The code is being
written in a portable fashion and should run on OSK with no problem after I get
a machine. For those of you who asked about Coherent...I have just gotten
my hands on Coherent. My initial feeling is that my news package will port
over, but will take a little work. That is something I will work on after
the OS9 port is out to beta testers.
