After the success of the post asking about MIDI software for OSK, I'm going to ask a similar question: What is available for OSK in the way of packet-radio software, including AX.25, ka9q, TCP/IP, and the like? I'd be interested in getting into packet radio, as I will be graduating in two years, and hence will no longer have any way to get onto the internet. Is there a port of the ka9q package yet? Is anybody interested in doing a port if not? Would the Microware ISP be necessary to effectively make use of packet radio under OSK? Also, can somebody possibly point me in the right direction to get into packet radio? I'm not yet a licensed amateur radio operator, but I think packet radio will provide the incentive to study up and finally get my license (one of those things I've been wanting to do for years now...) Thanks for any information! Russell Hoffman rh2y+@andrew.cmu.edu Carnegie Mellon University -------------------------- Carnegie's Law: If it works, it ain't stupid.
