Are there any database management systems available for OS9?

Sure...Microware (800)475-9000 sells the SmartWare package (licensed
from Informix) which includes relational database, spreadsheet, and
word processor. Also, Ultrascience (708)808-9060 distributes Sculptor, a
very powerful relational database.  Also, dbVista has been ported to OS-9;
contact Raima for further information. Others databases exist, but these
are the major three I'm aware of.

In addition to the packages mentioned by Bill Sheppard there is also one
from CSG (Clearbrook Software Group, I believe) called IMS. It is
available for both OSK and OS9 versions (including a COCO version).
It can be obtained from Frank Hogg in the U.S. and directly from
CSG in Canada.

I have used both Sculptor and IMS on the COCO and prefer IMS in most
but not all ways over Sculptor.

Db9 is not yet available, but if you can wait a few months it may be a
cheaper alternative. (From StG -- autor of the StG bbs system for
os9/6809. I believe that db9 will be part of StG net 4.0.)

Hiding differences does not make them go away.
	Accepting differences makes them unimportant.

Yes, there are. The only two that I know about are Sculptor, which runs
on over 40 different computer systems. Frank Hogg Labs distributes a version
for OS-9 Level 2, and I think they carry an OSK version as well. You can
contact them at (315)469-7364
