[sci.philosophy.tech] Let's get this discussion out of sci.philosophy.tech

biep@klipper.UUCP (05/20/87)

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

In fact, this is just a test; I want to see if I can write here.

Anybody interested in discussing time, limits, infinitesimals (and their
possible physical reality), etc? I have posted an overview of Zeno's
paradoxes (the humble bit I know about it) in sci.math and sci.physics,
in reaction to a sci.physics article. However, I didn't get any responses
to it at all.

After all, this newsgroup is supposed to be about technical philosophy
(math, science, logic, etc), as the newsgroups list says it.

Perhaps the current discussion could be cross-posted to whatever is the
new name for net.cog-eng (cognitive engineering). This might also
bring the this group to the attention of more people. However, I would
like most to see real logic-like discussions over here
(where is the Wittgenstein discussion that used to be?)
