the release of Unisec 1.0 - a UNIX* security enhancement package.
UniSec is designed to deny unauthorized system access to thrill seekers
(ordinary hackers), thieves, crashers, extortionists, and terrorists.
UniSec is also designed to detect unauthorized changes to designated critical
files, to prevent contamination with worms, viruses, and/or software bombs.
UniSec provides the following:
o Quality password selection and assignment
o Password aging and user-friendly enforcement
o Login algorithms for intrusion attempt detection
o User notification of failed access attempts
o Times, days, ports, and baud rates assignment of login
permission parameters for each user
