Macro Computer Solutions, Inc proudly announces ELBS, the finest
in Unix file transfer administration system.
ELBS provides the Unix operating system with the facility to
distribute software in a controlled environment using the most
popular file transfer protocols available. Fully supported are
xmodem, text mode, kermit and ymodem, as well as any other
protocol your system can utilize. Files may be restricted to one
time access by a designated user or specified as "public" for
unrestricted access.
Remote users may send files to the host computer system,
automatically notifying the system administrator of their
successful arrival. New files may be reviewed by the system
manager and added to the distribution list or deleted from the
system.
ELBS supports up to 30 different "floors", to keep like software in
an easily maintainable environment. Each floor may contain an
unlimited amount of files. ELBS uses the Unix "curses" mode if
permitted by the users terminal setting.
ELBS can be fully integrated with AKCS multi-user linked
conferencing system.
Currently ELBS is available for Microport Unix System V and other
System V operating systems. Call MCS today for availability on
your hardware.
