Digital Audio Processor Interfaces (DAPIs)
These products provide professional quality switching, amplification,
attenuation, and filtering required when connecting digital data
acquisition equipment (A/D, D/A) to audio or telephone equipment.
They are useful to those involved in speech and signal processing R&D.
The DAPI-100 signal to noise ratio is greater than 90 dB, with total
harmonic distortion less than .1%. Frequency response is flat to
within 1 dB from 30 to 15,000 Hz. Inputs and outputs are either at
audio or telephone levels. The user can switch between two optional
anti-aliasing and smoothing filters. An optional telephone interface
provides 2- to 4-wire conversion and standard telephone signalling so
that the DAPI-100 can answer a ringing line or be strapped in
answering mode.
The DAPI-200 includes all functions of the DAPI-100 plus the ability
to switch signals among various A/D, D/A, telephone, tape deck,
speaker, microphone, headset, and auxiliary paths. All signals are
properly matched.
Both products are rack-mountable (standard 19"), and are available
with various relevant options.
