Netnews Reference Guide ======================= A new ASP publication, the "Netnews Reference Guide" is now available. This 40 page reference booklet covers the netnews commands, and has sections on news articles, news groups, mailing lists, article formats, the .newsrc file, news interfaces, netnews files and directories, and netiquette. Each command entry lists usage and syntax, and describes the command options, arguments, environment variables, and files. Examples of reading/posting commands are also included. The "Netnews Reference Guide" is in a handy, portable format actually fits in a coat pocket. It is approximately 40 pages and retails for $7.95. ASP offers a series of comprehensive reference booklets on a range of UNIX and C topics like System V UNIX, Berkeley BSD UNIX, System Administration for System V UNIX, UNIX System Programming, Bourne Shell Programming, C Shell Programming, Korn Shell Programming, C Programming, Text Editing with Vi and Ed, Using the Source Code Control System, and Using Netnews with USENET. These guides are in a handy, portable format and can be customized to include a company name and logo.
