It describes a wide range of software, hardware, and services which are available to the SCO XENIX market. Both SCO and independent vendor products are listed. The new directory has nearly twice the listings as last year's edition - 2300 products, and 160 services. APPLICATION: The directory is organized into five major sections: hardware, software, services, a company registry, and indexes. Each section is subdivided into categories - hardware by types of devices; software by types within systems programs, general purpose, and industry-specific business management and accounting product sections. The directory has a company registry which lists company information such as sales offices and distributors. Indexes by product name and by company name are provided. Finally, there are forms to invite reader comments and to submit entries in the next Directory. The increasing size of the SCO XENIX System V Directory clearly illustrates the growing importance of SCO XENIX in the microcomputer marketplace. ORDERING INFORMATION: To order copies of the SCO XENIX System V Directory, contact your nearest SCO Reseller, or call 1-800-626-UNIX (1-800-626-8649) for referral to SCO Resellers in your area. NOTES: (1) Users who require more information concerning a non-SCO product listed in the SCO XENIX System V Directory should directly contact the vendor listed in the directory, not SCO. (2) All non-SCO products are vendor-certified, except for specific hardware products such as CPUs and peripherals that are tested, maintained, and listed as SCO-supported hardware in SCO product release notes. SCO assumes no responsibility for any vendor claims of any kind. (3) Other vendors of hardware, software, or services for the SCO XENIX environment who are interested in being listed in future editions of the Directory may contact the SCO Developer Relations Department for an application form.
