MIT's Software Center distributes this release in 1600bpi UNIX tar format tape reels only. MEI announces the availability of X Windows Version 11 Release 3 on 1/4" cartridge tape (suitable for use with the standard tape drives of several popular workstations [Suns, RT's, etc.]). The tapes are written in standard UNIX tar format. Other formats (cpio, etc.) may be available depending upon demand. Price is $100 + shipping.
