Because of recent interest in our products on various newsgroups, InterCon Systems Corporation would like to provide quick product summaries to the Usenet community: TCP/Connect for the Macintosh ============================= This product, originally based on NCSA Telnet for the Macintosh, provides multi-session terminal emulation and file transfer capabilities using TCP/IP. The following terminal types are available: - DEC VT240/VT241 with full ReGIS graphics, with DEC VT340 1Q89 (upward compatible with DEC VT100 and Tektronix 4014) - IBM 3278-2, with 3179 host graphics 1Q89 (compatible with 'tn3270') Up to 20 terminal sessions may be active simultaneously, in any combination of VT240 and 3278. A full FTP server is built in, as well as a Macintosh-style FTP client, which makes transferring files as easy as 'point and click' Both the server and client support MacBinary format, with AppleSingle and AppleDouble available 1Q89. We support all of the popular Ethernet boards for the Macintosh II and the Macintsh SE, as well as LocalTalk/Ethernet gateways such as the Kinetics FastPath. Once Apple actually gets MacTCP out the door [:-)], we will be supporting it as well. TCP/Connect for the IBM Personal Computer ========================================= This product provides DEC VT102 and Tektronix 4014 terminal emulation, as well as an FTP server and a command-line oriented FTP client. We support a variety of popular Ethernet boards, as well as Apple-compatible LocalTalk boards, such as the Apple AppleTalk PC board or the TOPS LocalTalk board.
