Teleflex can:
o Answer your Telephone and play a greeting message.
o Speak to your callers over the Telephone in high-quality
digitized human voice (in any language).
o Allow your callers to respond and choose menu options
using the Touch Tone buttons on their telephones.
o Dial outgoing calls from your phonebook with a few clicks
of your mouse.
o Handle Voice Mail for your whole company. (There is no
limit to the number of Voice Mailboxes.)
o Provide Product Information or Take Orders from your
customers 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
o Search a Database and Read the results to you over the phone
using Voice Synthesis.
o Allow you to control your equipment or appliances by
remote control using optional control modules.
o Recognize whether its a person calling or another computer
and respond accordingly.
o Provide telecommunications with its built-in 1200 baud modem.
Teleflex is a hardware unit which connects to the SCSI port on your Macintosh.
The unit allows you to connect your telephone and your computer. The teleflex
software conforms to the Macintosh interface and is wonderfully easy to use.
No complicated programming is necessary. Instead, you create 'scripts' which
tell the system how to behave using ICONs. For instance, if you'd like to
have teleflex answer your phone and say hello, simply drag over the picture
of the answered 'telephone', and then the 'mouth' icon for which you have
recorded a greeting in your own voice. What you see is what it does!
Teleflex works with a Macintosh Plus, Macintosh SE, or Macintosh II with
1 Megabyte of memory and a hard disk. Teleflex has the normal RJ-11 jack
to accept your touch tone telephone. The List Price of Teleflex is $2,995.
