	A-TALK III SUPPORTS ASDG'S MULTI-SERIAL PORT BOARDS
	---------------------------------------------------

Long Beach, CA -- February 28, 1989 -- A-Talk III is the first commercial
software product on the Amiga computer to support the new multi-serial
ports from ASDG, Inc. With A-Talk III and the new ASDG DSP (Dual
Serial Board) ports, Amiga 2000 users can now simultaneously drive
multiple serial port devices such as modems, printers and digitizers
concurrently. Now it is possible for A-Talk III to simultaneously
research your stock portfolio from a public database and drive a
serial printer at the same time. A-Talk III can also be run multiple
times, allowing an Amiga user to be connected to more than one system.
For example, a user can download files fron Usenet and read mail on
BIX, all at the same time.

A-Talk III also supports the ASDG's TwinX-based SBX-Serial/2 and
SBX-Serial/4 boards, that allow the "industrial" user with up to
16 serial ports. OXXI and the developer of A-Talk III have been actively
involved with the development of multi-serial support drivers for the
Amiga together with ASDG, Commodore Business Machines and other hardware
vendors. A-Talk III's implementation of multi-serial support
fully conforms with the CBM Multi-Serial Specification. A-Talk III
works also with the "announced, but not yet available" A2232 multi-serial
card from Commodore.

A-Talk III continues to respond to the requirements of sophisticated
communications on the Amiga Computer. As one of the first programs
to implement an ARexx interface, and now with support for ASDG's new
multi-serial port boards, A-Talk III is leading the way in the area of
communications on the Amiga Computer. Release 1.1 of A-Talk III adds
the WXMODEM protocol to speed up file transfers with the People/Link
network and the YMODEM-g protocol for super-fast transmission with
error-free connections. The ZMODEM protocol implementation has been
improved with the inclusion of the ZMODEM Resume and ZMODEM Command
options that allow recovery of interruped transfers and remote command
invocation, respectively. A new elapsed and current time clock and
an improved phone book are also provided. The IBM PC ANSI mode has
also been improved and now features full IBM CGA 8-color emulation
on any IBM PC-based BBS. Support has also been added for high-speed,
error-correcting modems such as the US Robotics Courier HST and
Telebit's TrailBlazer Plus. For European users, A-Talk III Release
1.1 provides full support of the PAL larger screen size, allowing
VT100 terminal emulation with over 60 horizontal lines.

OXXI is committed to continuous feature enhancements to keep A-Talk III
at the forefront of Amiga communications. "It is our goal to keep A-Talk
III at the head of its class," stated Mr. Houston, President of OXXI.
"With the ARexx interface and its own Script Language, A-Talk III brings
true flexibility to communications on the Amiga Computer and makes
A-Talk III equivalent to the most sophisticated communications programs
on any computer platform. With the addition of multi-serial support
in A-Talk III, the Amiga Computer provides communication capabilities
comparable to the ones available on multi-tasking workstations at a
fraction of the price, and well beyond the ones provided on single
tasking personal computers".

Registered owners of A-Talk III version 1.0(x) can update directly from
OXXI. For a fee of $8, OXXI will ship registered owners a new program disk.
Registered owners can either ship in a check or provide either a VISA,
MasterCard or Americvan Express cridit card number and card expiration date
with thir order. Phone orders ccan be plced between the hours of 9AM and
