[comp.newprod] EmuGraph - a Tektronix 4010 Terminal Emulator for Microsoft Windows

minard@extro.ucc.su.oz.au (R.A. Minard [ext 2544]) (07/14/89)

EmuGraph is a Tektronix(R) 4010 graphics terminal emulator for
the IBM(R) PC. It is used to display graphics generated by a remote
computer connected to the PC's serial port. The emulator is a
Microsoft(R) Windows application and hence is easy to configure
and use. Brief documentation is supplied with the emulator in
hardcopy and on disk in Microsoft Windows Write format. A mouse,
EGA or VGA graphics, and Windows/286 are required.

The contents of an EmuGraph window may be magnified by selecting
a rectangle to zoom into with a mouse, or demagnified by selecting a
rectangle to map the current contents of the window into. Scroll bars
are used to pan the contents of the window at a given magnification.
The zoom and scroll functions may occur before, during or after the
graphics codes are received from the host computer. Several EmuGraph
windows may be opened and used to capture a number of graphics screens.
All configuration parameters are saved in a state file and can be edited
via dialog boxes.

EmuGraph does not support ANSI or VT52 escape codes, 4014
lines style and text sizes, or an incremental point plotting mode. (ANSI
and VT52 emulation can be obtained with the Terminal application supplied with
Microsoft Windows. Terminal and EmuGraph windows may be open at the same
time.) Production of hardcopy and cut and paste operation are not
supported.

A license to run EmuGraph on one machine costs $90 (Australian) and
may be obtained by contacting:
