Microplex Systems Ltd introduces the M130 and M160 synchronous elastic buffers. - two proprietary 16 bit FIFO's buffer data in both directions - regenerates data and clock signals - NRZ / NRZI operation and conversion, front panel configurable - detects CRC-16 frame check sequence in SDLC, HDLC, X.25 and other bit oriented protocols to lock out streaming data - DTE / DCE configurable interfaces - integral bit rate generator or external clocking selection - LED display indicates data activity and lockout status - M160 permits RS-232C operation beyond 20 k.b.p.s. - compact metal case The Microplex M130 (V.35) and M160 (RS-232) are multi-purpose buffers which facilitate the interconnection of satellite ports, TDM ports, modems, line drivers, and digital services such as DDS(1) and Dataroute(2). The M130 and M160 provide an elegant and reliable method of interfacing synchronous equipment that operate at different clock speeds.
