              Maple for 80386 Based Machines...

Waterloo Maple Software is now shipping Version 4.3 of Maple for
IBM PS/2 Models 70 and 80 and other 80386 based machines running
PC- or MS-DOS. The price for this implementation of Maple is
$1100 (Cdn). Site licenses are available. Waterloo Maple
Software and the University of Waterloo combine forces to provide
full service, ongoing product development, and complete user
support.

Maple is a powerful, interactive computer algebra system that can
do both symbolic and numerical computations. The previous
versions of Maple are currently used at more than 1000 sites
worldwide on over 20 hardware platforms from the one megabyte
Macintosh to Cray supercomputers. Maple is ideal for scientific,
engineering, and business math applications. It's ease of use
and extensive libraries facilitate solving problems in robotics,
chemistry, relativistic physics, linear programming,
econometrics, structural mechanics, electrical engineering, and
advanced mathematics.

Dr. Keith Geddes, Vice President of Waterloo Maple Software and
Co-Director of the Symbolic Computation Group at the University
of Waterloo, states: "The latest implementation of this software
puts the most powerful, efficient, and reliable mathemathics
productivity tool on the desktops of thousands of '386 users in
the fields of engineering, science, and mathematics." Version
4.3 affords the user two-dimensional color graphics in CGA, EGA,
and VGA modes.

Maple is marketed, distributed, and fully supported by Waterloo
Maple Software (WMSI), a company formed in 1988 by the developers
of Maple, investors, and business managers, to offer engineers,
scientists, and business users of mathematics the most powerful,
comprehensive, reliable, and user-friendly symbolic algebra
software environment. Under development by the Symbolic
Computation Group of the Department of Computer Science at the
University of Waterloo, Canada, since 1980, Maple has achieved
international distinction.
