VISUAL SHELL - XP - ON DIGITAL'S DECstation  3100 and 
DECstation 2100 WORKSTATIONS

SARATOGA, CA, -- Saratoga Information Systems CrossPoint
Visual Shell now supports Digital's RISC-based DECstation 3100 and 2100 
workstations, and will soon be available on the DECsystem 3100, 
5400, and 5800.

XP is a visual shell, featuring extended facilities for manipulating
files, over 50 built in "hot key" commands, user definable hot heys,
command line interface to ULTRIX , command line history, context
sensitive help, two visual interfaces - including a hierarchichal tree,
file content searching ability, and a file and directory LocAid(tm). XP
also offers a scrolling menu interface, as well as the "hot key"
interface. Currently being used by a large financial organization
transitioning to the UNIX world, and by product managers in several
UNIX software houses.

According to Richard Karasik, president of Saratoga Information Systems,
"The DECstations provide an ideal environment for a user to cross over
from DOS to UNIX. XP provides that user some comfort during the
transition by presenting the user with a visually "familiar" tool.

Prices for XP range from $100.00 for a single user configuration to
$2000.00 for a 256 user configuration. Government and educational
