SAN MATEO, Calif. -- December 1, 1989 -- Power Up Software Corporation
today announced it began shipping Address Book Plus to resellers
nation-wide. Address Book Plus is truly a quick and easy way to manage
name and address lists; and print them in a variety of forms including
address book pages, phone lists, mailing labels, rotary file cards, and
envelopes.

Julie Wainwright, vice president of sales and marketing for
Power Up Software Corporation said, We designed Address Book
Plus for Macintosh users who are looking for a very approachable
solution to their list management needs. The product fits in well
with our entire line -- it is a single function software package that
can be learned and used in minutes, not hours. Weve even added a desk
accessory for automatic number lookup and dialing -- something we all
do several times a day.

Two versions of the product are available: a software-only
version with a suggested retail price is $89.95 that includes software,
user manual, sample files, and sample address book paper; and another
version which includes a leather binder and carries a suggested retail
price of $129.95.

Address Book Plus for the Macintosh can import three types of
files: Address Book Plus, tab-delimited text files, and IBM PC text
files from Address Book Plus (DOS). Address Book Plus (DOS) was
nominated "Best Product for Managers" by the Software Publishers
Association last year, and is Power Up's third best-selling product.

"I think Address Book Plus was very thoughtfully designed. Its
simple operation, slick shortcuts such as the automatic dialer, and
top-notch output make it the intelligent choice for anyone
computerizing their name and address lists," commented Bob LeVitus,
author of the best-selling book, Dr. Macintosh, published by
Addison-Wesley.

Address Book Plus runs on all Apple Macintosh personal
computers, starting with the 512KE and including the new portables. A
hard disk is recommended, but not required. It will print using any of
Apples printers -- including ImageWriters and LaserWriters -- or any
Apple compatible printer.

Located in San Mateo, Calif., Power Up Software Corporation
develops and markets world-wide, and through its Power Up! catalog.
