The 1991 edition of the University of Toronto Bookstore's computer book catalogue is now available. The catalogue lists 3,000 titles (Title, Author, Publisher, ISBN, Price, and estimated release date for forthcoming titles). It aims to be extensive rather than intensive, so there is no description or evaluation of the books. Titles are divided into subject areas, and listed in alphabetical order by author. I had hoped to include an author index this year, but space and time did not permit... Subject areas covered range from PC & Macintosh applications to AI, communications and networking, data base, graphics, languages and operating systems. The catalogue is of course free, and the Bookstore will mail copies to anyone who asks and provides a mailing address. Requests may be emailed to my address below, or phone (416) 978-7925.
