Mt Xinu is pleased to announce Mach386 - Mach and 4.3BSD available together for
the IBM PC. This is a binary product for the 386 (or 486 or 386SX).

The base package includes:
	Mach 2.5 kernel and support utilities
	4.3 BSD interface and utilities
	GNU utilities (GCC, GDB, GAS, EMACS, BISON)
	On-line reference manuals (man pages) for Mach and 4.3 BSD

Three optional modules are available:

	Networking:
		SUN NFS 
		TCP/IP networking from the Berkeley Tahoe release
		On-line NFS man pages

	X:
		The X Window System Version 11, Release 4
		On-line X man pages
		Currently, this requires:
			a VGA or VGA-compatible monitor
			or a Paradise     800x600
			or a Video Seven  800x600
			or a Video Seven 1024x768.

Memory Requirements

For the complete system, 100 megabytes of disk space and 8 megabytes of memory.
For the base system, a minimum of 40 megabytes of disk and 4 megabytes of
memory.

	Toshiba and Toshiba-compatible floppy drives and controllers
	WD 1007 compatible disk controllers (ESDL or ST506 hard disk drives and
	controllers)
	Wangtek 1/4" standard 3M streamer
	i8250-based serial controllers (DOS COM lines)
	iMX-LAN/586 Ethernet board or Olivetti P 586
	3COM 3C501 & 3C502 & 3C503 (Etherlink) Ethernet controllers
	WD8003E Ethernet controller
	Serial mice
		(Mouse Systems, SummaMouse, Logitek, and Microsoft mice)

Please note that we do not support the microchannel bus, IBM PS2, some NCR
machines, or SCSI disks and tapes.  We are, however, considering new devices,
so let us know your interests!

Auto-Support

	Dial-in access to bug lists and the bulletin board information center
	Automatic electronic update service
	Subscriptions are $150 per quarter
	Special yearly subscription fee of $500
	Available begining April 1, 1991

Through this automated self-help support mechanism, you may dial-in as 
frequently as you wish, to peruse through bug announcements and posted fixes.
Our electronic bulletin board allows customers to communicate and exchange
information between themselves and the mt Xinu technical staff.  In addition,
through Auto-Support you can have your machine automatically receive updates
and changes as they are released.

Annual Full Support

	Up to 15 telephone or email consultations
	Subscription to the Auto-Support mechanism
	Can be applied to multiple licenses at a single site, with a single 
	human contact
	$1500 per year

If you require more extensive services than the Auto-Support mechanism can
offer, mt Xinu makes phone support available on a yearly basis.  You may
purchase our full annual support, which allows you up to 15 consultations
on system problems.  Each consultation is comprised of as many phone or email
conversations as are necessary to provide a solution, workaround, or 
otherwise bring closure to a specific problem.  Each consultation is limited 
to one issue.
