Software Toolz announces version 1.6 of DOCZ

DOCZ is a software development tool that automates the documentation
of subroutine libraries and programs. It allows for the
documentation to be contained in the same file as the source code, to
be extracted for reference manuals and revision notices. DOCZ also
builds on-line help libraries with module documentation, and program
editors can be interfaced with DOCZ to extract function call
prototypes from the help libraries during editing. The DOCZ on-line
help library viewer can browse and search module documentation by name
or description to make it easy to select modules for use in
development.

DOCZ makes it possible to share and re-use code, as in object-oriented
development environments.

DOCZ supports all major languages, including C, C++, Assembly (8086,
VAX11), Pascal, COBOL, FORTRAN, BASIC, Dbase, and command-interpreter
languages (VAX DCL, MSDOS, Bourne Shell). Examples of each language
are included. DOCZ can use specific printer capabilities to enhance
the look of the documentation, and DOCZ comes with a printer
capability database for over 200 printers.

DOCZ has identical functionality under VMS, Unix System V, and MSDOS,
and it provides the means to transport help libraries and
documentation from one platform to another. It can automatically
detect the presence of source code version control systems and can
retrieve source files via that system (CMS, SCCS, or any other).

DOCZ allows the generation of complete program or subroutine library
documentation on demand, and an unlimited number of libraries are
supported. The posting of revision, change, introduction and fix
notices can be completely automated.

The DOCZ user manual is furnished both printed and on-line.

DOCZ is the ideal tool for software developers to manage shareable
software resources. It is a tremendous aid in both the development
and maintenance phases of software development in any size
environment. It is unique in its capability as a cross-platform and
multi-language development tool.

DOCZ is guaranteed to be a benefit to your development environment, or
it may be returned within sixty days for a full refund. VISA/MC
accepted. Currently supported Unix platform: Interactive 386/ix.
Other Unixes to be added soon! All single-user platforms are priced
at $195. Multi-user and site licenses are also available. OEM,
bundling, and other creative arrangements are also considered.
