Our goal is to provide the NeXT User the highest degree of versatility, coupled with simple yet elegant functionality. Below are brief descriptions of our two new products, DataPhile and Create. The power and capabilities of our these products have surpassed our original vision. We would like you to be able to begin using them in your work as soon as possible. 1] DataPhile is a self-contained, easy to use, flat file database. Create databases from imported plain text automatically, deliver laser printed labels and envelopes, generate forms for invoices and letters, design as many databases as needs may dictate, find specified info in indicated fields instantly. Store sound bytes and image libraries. Allows simple modification, addition and deletion of fields anytime. Field types: text, value, money, boolean, date, picture, and sound. 2] Create is an extremely powerful color drawing program which allows simple creation of 3 dimensional text and objects, plus all the features you would expect in a high end drawing program. Create does to arbitrary objects what TextArt did for text: outline, many fills, multiple, skew and shadows; simple by clicking buttons in an intuitive environment, plus a built-in postscript "hacking" environment. Your graphics can be transferred seamlessly to any conforming NeXT application, or stored in DataPhile in a compact, editable form. Public interest has been very high in both of these products and have received enthusiastic responses from our Beta testing sites. Continual requests and inquiries about Beta testing have led us to the conclusion that we should make Beta Versions available as of March 27th, 1991 with a paid confirmed order for the v1.0 product, which we expect to ship third quarter of 1991.
