I agree with Kip Cole that a foot mouse would be a better pointing device [V4 #21]. I have been calling this device a "rat", which I will admit doesn't seem to have helped its marketability. Given that such a device frees the hands for two-fisted typing, it is not necessary to have buttons on the rat. The best arrangment, I believe, is to make it like a sandal that you slip into it. This is fairly convenient for those of us who like to work with our shoes off. Inevitably, some fanatic will put one on each foot so that he can point at two places simultaneously, then leap up and skate down the hall. Les Earnest Imagen
