Cymail Delivers Easy-To-Use Electronic Mail for Unix CYANTIC Systems has developed an easy-to-use mail program for Unix systems. Totally compatible with native Unix and Xenix mailers, Cymail provides a ring menu interface to allow business managers and office workers to quickly become proficient in the robust communications environment of Unix. A single screen displays all the options available to the user at any time, while context sensitive help guides the user through each operation. The program also provides facilities to send attachments along with the text of standard messages. This makes it possible for users to share binary files created by a word processor or spreadsheet program through the mail system. Cymail's attachments are compatible with standard Unix mail systems and can be unbundled from the mail messages at sites that do not use Cymail. Cymail messages may be sent along the Internet or other networks to recipients at remote sites. Cymail also includes the ability to handle multiple mailboxes so that archiving and managing mail for later reading is convenient for the user. A message editor, Cyed, is bundled with the product to help make message composition easy. Cyed comes with an on-screen help menu and provides all the tools necessary for simple message writing. Price: $145.00 for a single machine license. Cymail is shipping now. CYANTIC Systems, 24 Mabelle Ave., Suite 3309, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA M9A 4X8, (416) 234-9048.
