I've noticed lately that a lot of people are quoting ME as the author of the various articles posted to this newsgroup. This is in error and I am concerned that we're losing the original citations of the articles. To check this, I would like to have people go back over the past 10 or 20 articles in this group and check to see if they're listed as being from different authors at different sites around the world, or if they're all cited as being from 'taylor@hplabs'. If they're all listed as being from me, please send me ONE article that is in error (an easy way to see is if the salutation at the end doesn't match the cited author) including all headers (especially the "path:" line) and I shall attempt to figure out where the information is being altered. If it continues to be a problem I shall resort to having the first line of each message be a duplicate of the From: line in the original header. Sorry for the confusion. -- Dave Taylor
