I recently became very interested in the organizational/sociological aspects of relational database management systems. I'm looking for papers dealing with aspects like motivation, job satisfaction, attitudes and job design with respect to the use of relational databases. Although there exists a vast amount of literature regarding the technical (performance improvements, etc.) and data(base)- theoretical issues, organizational/sociological problems seem to be rarely treated.
