CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

National Conference on Computers in Education, 24-27 June 1990

The Cape Educational Computer Society (CECS), an independent, non-racial
democratic organization in South Africa, aims to encourage and develop
appropriate and progressive use of computers in education in that country.

CECS is holding a conference on 24-27 June 1990 to address the following
themes:

o people's education
o media education
o the politics of information
o state power
o education and the econcomy
o resource production and curriculum development
o the classroom
o education and telecommunications
o community organizations
o you and liberation

Also to be considered: general computers and society issues; the role of
computer technology in a Post Apartheid State.
 
Proposals to reach the organizers by 28 February 1990.
