pjs@cs.mu.OZ.AU (Peter Stuckey) (12/06/90)

[I post this for my sister, the editor of the special issue, who does
not have access to the net.]

The magazine "Transition: discourse on architecture" an Australian
magazine of architectural discourse is looking for submissions for
a special issue on Virtual Reality. "Transition" is a non-profit
theoretical architecture magazine that publishs four 100-page issues a year.

Submissions are solicited for articles describing Virtual Reality and
tackling questions about VR. These questions include, but are not
restricted to

  --- What is VR ?
--- How does/will VR work, and what are the enabling technologies ?
--- What are the envisaged applications of VR ?
--- How will VR change our soceity/culture in the long term ?
--- What are the aesthetics of VR ?
--- How will VR alter our perceptions of space ?

The articles need not have any direct reference to architecture, but
should preferably be of a philosophical nature.

Short submissions suitable for a compilation are also acceptable.
