[comp.society] Steve Jackson Games Files Lawsuit

nadine@stat.tamu.edu (Nadine Miller) (05/08/91)

Just a note on the issue of the seizure of Jackson Games's equipment and
publications last year...

I read in the _Austin_American_Statesman_ yesterday or Saturday, that Jackson
Games had filed a lawsuit against the FBI or Secre a little known statute
about seizure of publication documents, plus illegal seizure, lack of due
process, and also something in regards to the failure to process the release
of the equipment in a timely manner.

I don't have the paper right at hand, but I will look up the article if anyone
is seriously interested (it was very short and buried, of course).
