[net.music] Stevie Wonder

Just a quick note concerning the seemingly ubiquitous Stevie Wonder.
The recent Eurythmics song "There Must Be an Angel (Playing With My Heart)"
has a harmonica solo by Stevie, as does the (year old) "I Feel For You" by
Chaka Khan. Can anyone add to this list of tunes?

P.S. I finally heard a Kate Bush song on the radio (my first one) and,
for the record, it was pretty pathetic. Oh well, I like some pretty pathetic
stuff myself!

Yes! On King Sunny Ade's latest USA release, "Aura," (also about a year old,)
there's a number called "Ase" (pronounced "ah-SHAY") which features Stevie's
harmonica quite prominently. It's by far the hottest, dirtiest, nastiest
solo I've ever heard Stevie do (that means I like it.) The song is
kind of long--8 minutes, perhaps?--but always ends much too quickly for me.
This is one song that's *not* on my lengthy "Stevie's Clinkers" list.

Does anyone know what language(s) Sunny Ade sings in?

Even as a die-hard Bushie, I'm disappointed with "Running up that Hill."
I recommend the "Never for Ever" album for novices. Enough said.
Sorry to bring it up. I really am.
