[aus.wanted] Reliable client/server libiary

I have heard that there is a package or libiary of routines
written by some one at SUn microsystems, to provide reliable
client/server connections. If provides services like, re-establishing
connections when a server dies. Has anybody seen this packages, do you
know where I could get it from. I heard it was public domain.
