Some time ago I tried to get S going on our Sequent. I eventually gave up because of problems in getting the heavy mix of C & Fortran routines to interact correctly. Sequents Fortran compiler isn't as 'C compatible' as AT&T's f77 which S seems to prefer. Since then, New-S has come along and Sequent's Fortran compiler (actually SVS) has become more C compatible, so before we order New-S has anyone out there had any experience with it - preferably on Sequents.
