I am looking at using the C++ task system in the implementation of a message processing system. What I would like is some feedback from people who have used this library in an extensive manner. In particular, the pitfalls that you encountered, the design constraints that you discovered, the things that worked well and the things that didn't. I have read the Stroustrup and Shapiro paper on the classes and the Shapiro paper on the real time extensions.
