Hi All, (again) A few days ago I requested any info on AT-Bus floppy drives. Most people replying suggested that I get a boot prom(s) to boot over the network. I HAVE TRIED to get info from our local suppliers/builders and some people who supposedly have this arrangement of booting from the net. Because of NO RESPONSE on this request I posted for an AT-Bus floppy. If their is anyone on the net that has any information of bootable PROMs kit for PC's Please E-mail me. I will summarise if desired by the net. OUR configuration. A 386SX/16 machine with on board floppy and hard-disk controller 2Megabyte of ram (will upgrade to 4 Megabyte min) fitted with 5 1/4" (1.2Meg floppy) 3 1/2" (1.44Meg floppy) NO hard disk (We will not install one) Interlan Network card NI5210 with a socket for The BOOT Prom if I get one to work. We will configure as Thin Ethernet. Sorry for the repost, But the option of buying a floppy-card to support 4 drives doesn't wash with us either, We have two good I/f on board already Ta Very Muchly, Bruce Robertson | labman@gondwana.ecr.mu.OZ.AU Department of Engineering Computer Resources, | labman@128.250.1.63 C/o Faculty of Engineering, | Besides; It's not the Principle University of Melbourne, 3052.
