[comp.protocols.misc] Xmodem/Ymodem documentation

keyles@elbereth.RUTGERS.EDU (Mike) (05/12/87)

Hi,

A user has asked me for documentation on Xmodem, Ymodem and Zmodem. He
says that there are manuals written, probably by Chuck Forsberg. I'd
appreciate any pointers to them.

Please reply to me directly.

Thanks,

Mike

Add one more file to that list of protocol descriptions.

This is Frank Wancho's excellent documentation of the "MODEM7" protocol,
as implimented in the TOPS-20 TMODEM program, complete with a
step-by-step description of the batch protocol.
