Hi. I've got an RCA VCR that was designed for the RCA Dimensia (sp?) system (I don't remember the correct name; my owners manual is at home). Does anyone know what the format (protocol) is? On the back of the vcr there are two RCA jacks labeled "System In" and "System Out". The Dimensia system is suppose to let you interconnect a whole bunch of RCA products and view things on the TV. For example, via the tv, you could start a cd player and record it on the tape deck; set your fm radio to 107, etc. (All these products must be part of the Dimensia system.) I'm curious as to what the signal/protocol is. If it isn't that complex, it would be nice to be able to have a micro read/program the vcr, etc. But, first things first. BTW, please don't post replies since I don't often get access to this unix box. If you mail to me, please DO NOT mail back from where I am posting this; please use one of the addresses at the bottom of this message. Thank you.
