[comp.protocols.misc] Anyone have a WXMODEM spec?

bradch@microsoft.UUCP (Bradford Christian ms1) (05/13/89)

I am trying to get a WXMODEM protocol driver to work and it's REAL difficult
without a spec! I am also interested in a ZMODEM spec, but it's not quite
as important (of course, it will be as soon as I get WXMODEM to work :-)

Can anyone out there send me one or both of these or point me at a book or
something?

P.S. Please don't tell me about FTP sites! While I'd appreciate the gestur,
I cannot reach any of them :-(

DISCLAIMER: this has nothing to do with Microsoft; they just pay me to play
with their computers!

I'd be interested in this too, especially the original xmodem as well, (i have
a few ancient term programs i've been using since i got my apple) but i can get
to ftp, so any info would be welcome (a book somebody wrote?).

Todd, the WXModem specs as well as X/Y/Zmodem are in directory
pd3:<misc.protocols> at Simtel20.
