[comp.protocols.misc] IMAP2 sources needed

freiss@nixpbe.UUCP (06/14/89)

Hi netlanders,

does anyone out there on USENET have the IMAP2 sources? I know they
are available via anonymous ftp from sumex-aim.stanford.edu,
but (you guessed it) I don't have access to the Internet from here,
and my mails to Mark Crispin (author of RFC1064 / IMAP2) seem to be
swallowed up by a black hole somewhere on the way.

So.. if anyone has them, I would be *very* grateful if you could
mail them to me. Or if you know of a mailserver that carries the
IMAP2 sources, that would be great too.

Thanx in advance,
Martin

I've sent him a uuencoded, compressed, tar file of the current IMAP sources.
I would be interested if somebody wants to be a distribution point from the
non-Internet world (SUMEX-AIM is the Internet distribution point).

osu-cis just became such a distribution point, assuming that
sumex-aim:/imap/imap.tar.Z was the right thing.

Uh, that's accessible via UUCP as ~/imap/imap.tar.Z-part-a[a-i].
