Can anyone suggest a relatively cheap method of attaching an async terminal to an IBM S/36, presumably by emulation of an IBM 5251 terminal and attachment to the twin-ax local loop? I say cheap because the target system is very small and can't justify substantial expense. Actually, I want to attach a Unix port to the S/36 so all the Unix users can connect.
