[comp.protocols.misc] Amiga XPRYmodem?

niobium@arrakis.nevada.edu (Christopher W. Carlson) (11/07/90)

Again, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this kind of a query,
but here goes...

I am looking for an external protocol library for the Amiga that supports
the Ymodem protocol, specifically Ymodem-1K batch. This is for use with the
terminal program VLT, which supports all the other XPR libraries that I've
found (Zmodem, xmodem, kermit, ascii).

While on the subject, if anybody knows of any other Amiga XPR libraries, I'd
be most grateful for pointers as to where they may be obtained.

Thanks.

In addition to those XPR protocolls you mentioned, I only know about
the XPR quickb protocoll in the public domain. I haven't heard about
any XPR ymodem implementation, but there is quite a large amount of
source to XPR libraries and extensive documentation to both the XPR 1.0
and 2.0 standards available (from me , if you really can't find any
of the above anywhere else).

I've set followups to comp.sys.amiga.tech. I think that group is more
apropriate.
