Does somebody know whether and where information, documentation, or best, the very standard itself about IEEE 802.2 Logical Link Control (LLC) is available in machine readable form? Any info about sources or, if you have floating it around on your hard disks, LLC itself, is very welcome. Are IEEE standards available in non-paper form at all? And, in case of emergency, could some kind soul provide me with the procedure of how to get _printed_ standards from IEEE? I'm a student member of IEEE, in case that helps. Snail mail from here (Germany) to IEEE and back takes ages... it's really no alternative. IMHO, an organization like IEEE could at least provide an archive or ftp server to its members and interested people. It would help matters a lot. Ok, ok... I know, I have to write by snail mail and propose that to IEEE. But that will only help my grand children, I'm afraid. :-) (In case someone of IEEE reads this: THIS IS A PROPOSAL.)
