Kermit is best described in the book "Kermit: A File Transfer Protocol" by Frank da Cruz. This should be available in any decent technical bookstore. Kermit sources, user documentation, and an older version of the protocol manual is available for ftp from watsun.cc.columbia.edu. Read the newsgroup comp.protocols.kermit for current information. The mailing-list version of this group can be subscribed to by sending a message to info-kermit-request@watsun.cc.columbia.edu. -- blarson@usc.edu C news and rn for os9/68k! -- Bob Larson (blars) blarson@usc.edu usc!blarson Hiding differences does not make them go away.
