I agree with Philip White. Use net.auto until there is a demonstrated need.

felix!roger has suggested the creation of net.auto.sport, but I don't think his article appeared in net.news.group. As I understand it, net.auto.sport would be similar to net.auto, but would emphasize sports cars and is not intended for car ads. He is NOT suggesting net.sport.auto, which could treat auto and maybe motorcycle racing of all types (road, stock car, sprint, drag, etc racing). I don't think we need net.auto.sport. I have seen very few articles that naturally fit into net.auto.sport. All I recall are a couple of Ferrari GTO articles in net.auto. If the BMW owners, for example, want such a group they should start their discussions in net.auto and see how much traffic is generated. Don't think I hate sports cars - I subscribe to R&T also. As far as net.sport.auto, I have seen very few auto-sports related articles recently, so there is little support for it now also.
