Having worked a great deal on the AppleTalk/VMS implementation (i commissioned it for my current project over a year ago), it is an extremely good implementation of Appletalk. Very efficient and simple to use. The documentation is also very good. Also, as the man said, the really do support the thing quite well. A class act overall. I've been beating on it for a year now, and it has held up really well - we're still finding little nits every now and then, but they are little, and nothing to stop things working anymore. Along different lines, someone mentioned that they'd been trying to get Alisa to get a net connection. I talked with Bob (Alisa president) today and mentioned it to him. He said that he'd been trying, but has been unable to find anyone to give him a feed. Does anyone know someone down in the Pasadena area who would be willing to oblige them? Mail responses to me, and i'll see that he gets them. He seems willing to turn one of their Rainbows into an Ultrix box if he needs to (is there public domain/cheap VMS software to access the net?). thanks -- peterz -------------------------------------------------------- I demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty!
