This posting is reminiscent of other recent postings...I hope there is room for one more request for CAP4 help... We are trying to get aufs running on an Ultrix 1.2 host. 'Look' works from ultrix, and telnet runs from the mac side. Aufs starts up and reports successful registration of the server name. It says it is waiting for connections. I Run Chooser on the mac, and select Appleshare, but the list of servers is blank. I can send my /etc/atalk* files if anyone wants to look at them. They must be reasonably close to correct for look to work, unless aufs has some extra dependencies on anet numbers. Specific questions: 1) Is 'atis' needed when running aufs? (I don't think so, but...?) 2) Should 'look' see aufs? (It doesn't) 3) Is there any other way to search for registered servers from the mac side? 4) If anyone has aufs running on Ultrix 1.2, could you send me your /etc/atalk* files? We are running a class B network (with no subnets at present). (Currently using the H feature for rebroadcasting with the K-box.) just call me... L. R.
