[comp.protocols.appletalk] Attention file server people

elwell%tut.cis.ohio-state.edu@osu-eddie.UUCP (Clayton Elwell) (07/29/87)

As I was making arrangements to go to Macworld Expo and the Apple
networking conference in Boston, it occured to me that it was pretty
likely that it would be a great place to talk about Mac file
representation and so forth.

Is anyone going? If so, send me some mail so that we can arrange a
time to get together.

I assume that by "Mac file representation" you mean how to store a Mac file
(data + resource forks, finder info, etc.) on a foreign file system. We at
Apple are looking into creating a standard format for such a file, and any
comments from the developer community would be welcome.
