Brad Smith of UC Santa Cruz writes that he is having subnetting problems with NCSA Telnet, I too, am having trouble with NCSA Telnet 2.0 and the UDP gateway code (from Kinetics). This code works great with Version 1.2 of the Telnet application, but I can't open a window to anything using version 2.0. Is the new telnet not compatible with this gateway code? Is it osmething really strange I'm doing wrong? Thanks for help anyone can offer. Jeff Creech UNC-Chapel Hill

It may be just my imagination, but it seems to me that the number
of "Help; XYZ isn't working, I'm using Kinetics UDP code" messages far
outnumber the "Help; XYZ isn't working, I'm using KIP" ones.
Have other people noticed this too?
