To all Kinetics gods: HELP! I am making changes to the PWCS Kinetics Configuration and need some help. The current configuration (see below, for locations 6 & 7) appears to work correctly, but I seem to have erred in adding to this configuration (for loc's 5, 8 & 9). My best guess as to the error is that the Ethernet Subnet for loc 6 is similar to portions of the AppleTalk Subnet for loc 5; I am basing this on the octal conversions of the Subnet values. Could someone out there PLEASE enlighten me as to how one uses a SubMask & SubShift in setting up Subnet values? To all Kinetics gods: HELP!! I have made changes to our Kinetics Configuration and need some help. (We are using NCSA Telnet version 1.1--I do know that we need the new version). THE PROBLEM: Could someone out there PLEASE tell me why we are getting the message "packet received for invalid port reset sent"? (This problem is occurring on a first attempt to connect to our Pyramid, although we are able to connect correctly on second and later attempts.)
