Well, after much consternation, I have KIP/CAP running on my Fastpath and SUN 3/260 server. I can poke the laser and do other fun things. Now I am trying to get Transcript bolted together with papif and such. Can anyone provide any assistance as to how the printcap and Transcript printer filter shell scripts have to be chopped up to make them talk to the Laserwriter via CAP?? Oh yes, Transcript is from SUN. -Mike uunet!mo

I have modified papif so that it coexists better with TranScript (v2) Alas, I don't have the unmodified version so to post I'd have to send the whole thing. Phil Budne, Boston University
